The harbour / marina in Anstruther has transformed the previous fishing community into a leisure centre for Fife offering a range of outdoor activities. The village is also famous for its fish and chip shop, fishing museum and beautiful scenery. Anstruther has a small sandy beach in the nearby Cellardyke. Larger beaches are found along the east coast of Fife with some of the most attractive at Elie and at St Andrews.
