From Amazon.com Set in pre-Revolutionary War America, readers finally have the much awaited fourth book in what will probably become a six book series (The Outlander series). The talented Diana Gabaldon continues Claire and Jamie's romantic love affair, and introduces Brianna and Roger's story. Eight hundred pages, and several wonderful new characters later, we wonder why we were waiting for a conclusion. It'll be a long wait for book five, so I recommend you go back and reread Outlander, Dragonfly in Amber, and Voyager to keep yourself sane.

long awaited and impressive July 31, 2008 I didn't enjoy dragonfly in amber as much as the first 2 books. this was NOT because it was uninteresting or poorly written but because I found myself distracted by curiosity about what was going to happen to Brianna and Roger. I was thrilled with drums of autumn! i think it is the best installment since outlander. happy reading!
Love her work- February 4, 2006 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Love Diane's work, she is amazing as an author. "Drums Of Autumn" is a wonderful romance. Anything she writes is well worth your time. Besides Katlyn Stewart, she is my next best author.
Drums of Autumn December 15, 2003 Great book, well packaged & timely delivery! Thanks!
Once you start . . . you can't stop! April 18, 2003 This book is amazing . . Once you pick it up - you won't beable to put it down - it draws you in and makes you forget about everything else but what's happening inside the story. You feel as if you are there - with the charatures! It's a wonderful series!
You won't be disappointed March 12, 2003 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Last november, I trusted a friend's recommendation and starting reading the 'Outlander series' from Diana Gabaldon. I quickly became addicted to the series, especially "Drums of Autumn". I would read it whenever I had a spare moment. If you loved the first novel, "Outlander", you will love this one as well! Between the two, I don't know which one I enjoyed more. I recommend that you read the series in the order they came out before reading this one. Enjoy!
