 Great Bug Illustrations & Fun Facts March 19, 2008
I recommend this book to any "bugsters". Each page has enlarged very detailed full colour illustrations of the insects (125 of the "coolest" bugs of Ontario which include butterflies, moths, beetles, wasps, ants, bees, sucking bugs, etc.) along with interesting facts and information about each one. I believe the book is written with children in mind, and the bugs covered are those that they always have questions about. Of course focusing on Ontario bugs really helps if you live in Ontario and want to do some bug watching. The beginning of the book covers bug biology, life history, ecology, along with some tips on how to watch bugs and equipment recommendations for viewing and photographing insects.
I highly recommend this book. The larger size illustrations make this book a worthwhile purchase.
