If everyone thought Bruce was the father of Julia's baby you are in for a big surprise. He gets his old job back as a surveyor claiming that he has changed. Matthew has settled into married life. Pat is not included in this book, it's mentioned that she's living with her parents in the Grange. Bertie, Irene, Domenica, Angus and Cyril still have their stories continuing here along with some hilarious moments. Looking forward to book 6.
