The Handbook of Bible Application is an excellent resource for anyone looking for a biblical perspective on various issues including from abortion to zeal and everything in-between.The typical format for each issue consists of: 1)listing and definition of the issue, 2) a question concerning the issue (i.e. - how should Christians respond to laziness?), 3) key Bible verses concerning the issue, 4) a few key points for thought concerning the issue, and 5) a listing of related topics.
The handbook is decidedly more of a life-application instead of a scholarly approach. However, the pastor preparing a sermon, the teacher preparing a lesson, or the believer or unbeliever searching for biblical answers can greatly benefit from the title!
All in all, a highly recommended supplement to the Bible!
