This box set is great. Something I have watched over and over again.
BUT ..... don't buy this product on the canadian site or you end up spending $100.00 more than if you were to take your strong Canadian dollar and purchase it from the American website where it is listed for $199.00. Yes you might have to pay a couple dollars more for shipping but you save at least $90.00

My wife enjoys this immensely, but as others have posted, my wife's set also has episodes which are prone to buggy playback issues and/or freezing. The bit I read about Amazon reps claiming that "older" DVD players are to blame is BS; it's just the kind of thing one says when we don't know what the real reason is - it's the DVD support equivalent to a doctor saying "It's just a virus". And I should know because I am a call centre Quality Monitor and hear reps doing it all the time... This is a faulty product, or at the very least, had a bad batch. If it were the DVD player, would other discs play fine? Would it screw up on the same episode(s) each time? No, and no.
There are also no good extras to speak of; hello, documentary? retrospective? interviews? behind-the-scenes footage? Anything?? I mean, is this or is this not intended to be a "Collector's Giftset"? You'd think that would inspire someone somewhere to include features which are worth watching. Instead, HBO seems satisfied making lame "extras" which amuse for half a minute and never get viewed again - all for the sake of saying that there are extras - credit where it's due, there's a commentary somewhere, but not for each episode (which is normal for TV series on DVD btw)
But my wife is so happy to have all the shows that she won't let me send it back - she barely trusts internet shopping as it is, lol.

This show is fantastic. The writing, the acting, everything about it is superb. This Collector's Giftset is the only way to go for hardcore fans. The case is gorgeous, and the bonus disc is pretty cool also. A fabulous addition to anyone's DVD collection.
