A knowledgeable guide to the construction and design of wooden structures, from basic tent to complex log house.
If you're intrigued by wooden habitats or just hark back to an era of pioneers and basic living, this book will keep you enthralled for eons. It would take a lifetime to actually build all the structures described in this text but an awful lot can be gleaned from reading through the instructions for each one and you could even come up with your own design.
I heartily recommend this un-put-downable classic.
Read it, plan it, build it!
