 Brilliant headphones in general December 4, 2008
I bought these headphones on reading reviews only, found that they are very good quality for cheap headphones, I don't know what people are talking about when they say they can't fit them in their ears - you just have to push them in! If nobody pushes them in properly, nobody will get a good fit.
Everything about them is good for the price, but the bass that people think is so amazing, isn't quite as much as I expected. Yes - the bass is good, but I think people went a bit overboard with the exaggeration.
When I put them in for the first time, I thought although there was quite a bit of bass, they sounded really tinny - I went to the EQ and turned the treble etc down, it had to go down as far as possible for it to stop sounding like a baked beans tin on string (-12 in my case, I have a Creative Zen).
Got a very good sound after I did that.
Overall, brilliant value headphones as long as you fit them properly and set your EQ to suit them.
In the longrun, it comes down to the quality of the MP3 player, and the quality/size of the recordings themselves.
A few main things I can say are:
Be patient with the sound (USE YOUR CUSTOM EQ)and be patient with the fitting! PUSH THEM RIGHT IN and move them around until they don't slowly move out.
BUY THE GENUINE ONES - if they're under 15 pounds they probably aren't genuine... They'll just break and have no bass.
From my experience so far, they suit all music types/genres.
Would definitely recommend to anybody on a budget of under 20.

Fantastic headphones that I bought to replace some CX300's from a few years ago. Great bass and a great price. A few weeks ago I bought some CX300's from marketplace seller Terrabok... they were fake and sounded dreadful. Luckily Amazon sorted out a refund. Pleased to finally get my hands on some genuine ones again!

I first got a pair of these as a gift at christmas two years ago and they were fantastic until about 6 months later on down the line when the left headphone went deathly quiet. I read a couple of the reviews to see if this sort of thing had happened to anyone else and it had; exactly the saw time after purchase the exact same thing had happened to someone else.
Seeing as they were such fantastic headphones is wasn't planning on going back to the awful sound produced by traditional headphones so i bought another pair. again fantastic sound, comfortable (you could actually forget you had them in) then suddenly the left one goes quiet. same story but this time if was only about 3 months after purchase. Right now im swithering about buying another pair incase i expecience the same story yet again.
Basically if you are going to buy these brilliant headphones, cause they really are brilliant, make sure you treat them like gently. Treat them like you would your own child.

hey just so say to NOT BUY FROM A-V-LTD as they sell FAKE headphones. i was unlucky enough to purchase a pair form this "seller" the shop should be shut down for selling counterfit goods!

Ok, these headphones have had really varied reviews.
BASICALLY.. if you like rap, r&b,pop,drum and bass,club,trance etc.... These are an absolute must !!! great bass and treble. The quality is outstanding. Best pair of headphones iv ever had, but i do listen to these genres.
However, if you like your rock, classical, more vocaly genres rather than instrumental and bass. then do not go for these. these are generally noise blocking bass headphones. if our not looking for heavy club bass feel when listening then do not buy. Its as simple as that !
when i come to buy my next pair of headphones i will get these again without fail !
