Best Ever January 25, 2008 I have read all of Karen Marie Moning's books and this is the one I keep going back to and have read many times now. Its a fabulous non stop ride, shot through with suspense, witty banter, hot romance and a to die for hero. If you are happy to suspend belief for the paranormal bits and are looking to fall in love with a sword wieldng, kilted hero, read this NOW!
First Class Time Travel Romance September 20, 2000 49 out of 165 found this review helpful
Karen Moning is an author with an extraordinary imagination and the necessary talent to put this into words. With skilfully placed historical details, unusual plot developments, very sensual love scenes (which did not follow the patterns normally used in romances) and an utterly unexpected ending she has once more created a fast moving and vivid novel. She loves to write stories with a paranormal touch. This novel, however, is a well done combination of time travel and paranormal romance. Nevertheless I suppose that some of the romance readers may have a problem with that kind of story, particularly regarding the ending. Karen Moning does not only put her own terrific imagination into the story, there is also required a certain amount of open-mindedness and imagination on the readers site. I really enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to her next novel.
