5 out of 5 stars A must for anyone considering buying a Border Terrier   October 7, 2005

A charming book packed with information, useful addresses and contacts. The book is well researched with humerous stories and matter of fact anecdotes from real Border Terrier owners, breeders, judges and working enthusiasts, it portrays the breed as it really is, warts and all! If you have never owned a Border Terrier before, this book is a must read before you embark on ownership and once you own one you will find you will refer to it time and time again.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent, well written, ideal for all terrier lovers   January 3, 2002

The book is well presented with an eye-catching cover and interior. Whether you are using this book as a reference book, or just for a good read, it is ideal for those who have an interest in the border terrier or dogs in general.

The author obviously has a great interest in the
border terrier and her love of dogs in general shines throughout the book. You get a definite feel for the breed she writes about.

The book is an excellent reference book that you can turn to time and time again - you don't have to be a serious border terrier breeder to want to refer to the book more than once.

The book is written straight to the point, and the extensive research is obvious, it does not contain the "waffle" that many similar books contain and is written in terms that can be understood by all.

This book is a credit to the author who obviously knows her stuff - let's hope there are more "doggie" books in the pipeline.
