This I will admit is a good basic book for the first-time snail keeper. However it fails to go into enough depth to be truly informative and will not provide you with the info you need to give your snail the long life it is capable of. What it omits to cover is the fact that though snails are easier to keep than many exotics, they are still exotics and there are many many situations that it does not cover. As an experienced keeper who has at present 7 species of african snail, and who has been keeping snails for over 10 years, I can assure you that this book does not tell you everything you need to know. It is simply a very basic beginners guide.

A useful resource for answering all the questions that young enquiring minds will ask you about this facinating creature. The illustrations are colourful, clear and provide an added learning bonus when using the information for teaching.
The book itself is a handy size, easy to display and use, but also containing a wealth of in-depth information written in an easy to understand way.
This book is all you need!

This book is a very comprehensive guide to keeping giant snails. It tells you everything you need to know and has very good illustrations.

This book features everthing you would ever need to know about Giant African Land Snails,including everything from feeding to breeding, and the photographs of the snails are amazing.
