1 out of 5 stars Rubbish!   June 9, 2008

It worked for a week or so and now the cats don't care. Finally I was able to keep the cats away by always keeping my grass wet.

5 out of 5 stars peace of mind   May 24, 2008

I have owned one of these for a blissfull four weeks, and after 9 years of cleaning other peoples cat's mess from my garden i am at last stress free, not one cat mess since i installed the big cheese. I was just about ready to sit up all night with an air riffle thats how bad i was feeling i had tried everything, don't delay these things really do work and the nightmare stops.

2 out of 5 stars Moggie 1 - Big Cheese 0   May 23, 2008

Got my Cat Repeller out of the box ASAP when it arrived. Installed it on the veg patch to protect my new beans etc. Next door neighbour's cat walked up to it, sat down and had a kip.
The moggie didn't seem at all bothered by the Repeller and I had to go down the garden to check it was working.
I'd suggest that this product isn't as powerful or as effective as some other reviewers suggest. Either that or the cat next door is smarter (and more hard of hearing) than I think!

3 out of 5 stars Limited Success   May 21, 2008

I have tried the Lion Roar without success so I thought I'd give the Cat Repeller a go as opposed to the more expensive water scarecrow option.

It's easy to set up and so far the battery has lasted three months but make sure to turn it off if your in the garden so not to waste the battery.

Our neighbours cat had two favourite spots in our garden so we aimed the repeller there. We seemed to have initial success but it has returned and marked the spot once in three months which is a great improvement.

However the cat has found a route around the detector and although it has not left us with any unwanted gifts in the garden it is still a nuisance.

The only thing it definately doesn't like is a good soaking so if it persists then I think the Water Scarecrow will be the next step.

1 out of 5 stars Absolutely useless   May 19, 2008

Either all the cats in my neighborhood are stone deaf or it's a complete waste of money.
