My husband absolutely loves it. We previously had a Flymo Compact 330, with which we had problems from word go. Eventually a month ago it blew up (thank goodness for that!).
So I set out on a mission to find my husband a decent lawn mower. I stumbled across Amazon, read the reviews for this one and bought it straight away. By the time we received it the grass was very long and wet. My husband decided to give it a go and it was superb!! He's never enjoyed cutting the grass so much. As far as cutting right up to a wall/edge he disagrees with that but he thinks it does an excellent job all round and it's very easy/lightweight to push. He even said I can now start cutting the grass! (It's probably too good...)
We highly recommend this product. Don't ever buy a Flymo one of any size and shape. Total rubbish.

Having given up on an old mower, which was heavy, jammed and failed to collect the grass. I ordered this one and two days later cut the same grass again.
Instead of having to collect with a rake an entire recycling bin full of grass cuttings, this mower collected and compacted a fine collection of grass cuttings. Getting up into the rough part of the garden, this mower powered through it and cut well into the sides. Putting the mower way I found it to be light.
Looking forward to when the grass grows again...instead of dreading it

I recently moved into a new home with approximately 170ft of lawn. I was left a Flymo which I thought didn't cut the grass very well and it looked as though it still needed cutting after I had finished. I knew that I needed to find another lawn mower as the work involved with using a Flymo was just way too much for me to handle. I carefully researched various types of mower and also went to my local Homebase to ask about mowers. They were unable to help me sufficiently so I called Bosch and they talked me through the various mowers and I settled for the Rotak 40. All I can say is that it is amazing. I mowed my lawn this weekend and it took me 45 minutes. I took the grass down to one level first and then went over it again on a lower level and I am highly impressed with this machine and would highly recommend it.

When my old petrol rotary mower packed in a few years ago, I decided to go electric and paid over 300 for an Atco cyclinder mower - since then I've had to spend hours cutting my grass as it couldn't cope with grass that had grown more than an inch. I borrowed a flymo which was hard work and splutted cuttings out periodically and still took a long time to do the job. Thank goodness I found this Rotak 40 - the answer to my prayers! It's lightweight, and quick to cut grass of varying heights, and collects the cuttings efficiently - now I can cut my lawn in around 5 minutes.

It works well and also looks the equivalent of a lawnmower ferrari, very happy with my purchase..buy one
