Not Compatiable April 7, 2007 25 out of 50 found this review helpful
I have to agree that this version is so incompatiable with anything else i have now had to resort to buying the earlier versions just so people can view my work. Get it sorted Microsoft!!!!!
Been waiting for this for long time April 1, 2007 17 out of 23 found this review helpful
Finally an Office suite that I have always been waiting for. It is fantastic, great work by Microsoft. I use Office a lot as I do research in my study, and have always had problems with the previous editions of Microsoft Office especially when it comes to graphs, trees and shapes. I was eagerly waiting for the new Office suite and when I installed it, I felt the difference and immediately felt it is worth every penny I paid for it. The interface is just beautiful, very neat, efficient, and you do not have to go around looking everywhere for menus and templates, etc. You can preview everything on the go. It is a breeze and very good welcome from the boring previous editions. It works great with my XP Home edition, no problem at all. If you buy it, be sure that you won't regret it, it will make life a lot easier for anyone who uses office applications. Very stable, very nice looking, easy to understand and work with and it is quite fun as well. Good work Microsoft, and I am wondering from now how would the next office suite look like. For the time being, Office 2007 is just great.

At last an edition of Office that does not cost more than the computer. Also, this pack can be downloaded on to 3 (that's THREE!) computers. Not that you would know from the info given or the box. Look closely and you can see this useful info on the back of the plastic box, but use a magnifier. Fortunately I spotted it before buying another.
So far so good - as far as using it goes. I haven't yet had any problems. Once I got used to the new layout I found it OK. However the main problem I have found with PowerPoint (for at least 10 years) is still there - when nudging text, shape etc. it nudges about 3 pixel widths at a time making aligning manually often impossible.
Its fantastic!! March 21, 2007 24 out of 29 found this review helpful
I bought this product and it has exceded my expectations, my reports and assignments now look far more professional, and as a uni student I have a student email address as well as a personal one with hotmail, so I didn't notice the lack of Outlook untill reading the other reviews. I have never used Outlook, so I definately dont miss it. I find the Onenote feature really useful, as I can jot notes in it while typing other bits and later drag my notes into the work where its needed. All the little extras included in this product are great, and I keep finding more helpful features everytime I use it. I definately recommend other students buying it!
Finally March 17, 2007 19 out of 22 found this review helpful
Microsoft office has always been way to expensive to justify having it on my laptop when we have one on the desktop (special version restricted to one computer) So for them to finally bring out a product that gives me the basics (excel, word nd powerpoint) is brilliant. You can download outlook express for free so i don't see that as a big problem. Considering that the other versions are about 250, I think this is a really good deal.
