Remote and a game November 29, 2008 A lot of people have posted on here slating the game. Yes, its not fantastic, but its not meant to be! Its a way of introducing people to the new controller and how to use it. Yes, it has nothing on wii sports, but it never claims to be anything brilliant.
There are ten mini games. Honestly, you wont play them all over and over again, however if you have young kids they will love the chase game where you play as a cow, its easy to control and play and kids love it. Also the shooting game is quite fun, if you are looking for a mindless game after a busy day at work.
At the end of the day, buy it, but dont expect anything beyond a few mini games! In my opinion, its worth having, and you might find yourself playing it on the odd occasion, but you are getting an extra remote and lets face it, thats the reason you will buy this! The game is a bonus!!!
Not a great game, but worth it if you need a second remote November 26, 2008 The games here aren't amazing, all having the air of demos about them rather than actual games, and with the possible exceptions of the billiards and table tennis games, there's little real longevity in any of them.
However, if you need an extra controller this is only a few pounds extra, and therefore well worth getting, but be prepared for the novelty of the games to wear off very quickly.
Want the latest games? Here's how to get them for a fiver November 25, 2008 Christmas is coming so save your cash! Why purchase something you can get for a fiver.
Go to electronicgifts.co.cc and sign up. Complete ONE offer - I would recommend Gala Bingo (you know, the one Sharon Osborne advertises for on tv),as this is cheap and fun (and you might win some money in the process!)
If you really don't want to spend, there is a free Lovefilm trial.
All companies are well known so there is no risk involved- give it a go! I got my SatNav, Wii, PS3, iPod Touch and many other things this way, so don't miss out.
I was a sceptic once but now I am SO glad I gave it a chance. B8C approved this system on their Newsnight programme a while back.
Many items to choose from and they send your gift Free of charge.
Don't buy unless it is free November 18, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wii Play is only worth getting if it's a cheap way of getting a controller. The game itself is rubbish - is only useful to learn how to use the Wii controller - which you can learn on any game anyway.
Wii Remote + Play November 5, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Once you have purchased a Wii, make sure this is your second purchase. You will certainly need a second remote(plus a 3rd & 4th maybe later on).
This is ideal with play included, the game is not mind blowing ... but its great and simple to play with a slection of games. Its well worth the purchase
