I love this game and all the different charecters you can use It's very tiring and your arms ache afterwards but still love it....
This game is awsomely tiring! November 25, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This game will tire you out if your playing to win. No doubt about that. Which is good. It's fun to play with your mates,to play with your family or on your own. There's just one thing about that last point, playing on your own. The game is quite short if you don't want to go for some of the harder acheivments. But you would expect that from an olympics game. But don't get put of by that. If you've got some friends who like playing on the Wii with you then this is a game that you'll all love to play. But if you want a big single player game then this isn't really for you. (Still a great game though!)
WORST SONIC GAME EVERRRR!!!!!!!!!!! November 19, 2008 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
Ok so I have been a fan of sonic the hedgehog since I was 5 years old and now I'm 15 but this game was the WORST I have ever played ... EVER!!! I Advise that you bie one of the other (much better) Sonic titles
unless you like Mario then bie another one of them XP
Bronze medal! October 28, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
There's a lot about this game that's great - the number of characters, the coming together of Sonic and Mario, the range of events, the difficulty level, the number of unlockable areas - however, it takes so long going through all the menus and sub menus, intros and instructions, you get about 2mins gameplay for every 10mins spend with the Wiimote in your hand.
Some events are really hard to master - I still can't get the hang of the swimming - while others are too easy - 100m sprint is so simple it's boring.
The graphics and audio are all very good, and the interaction on most events is pretty good - but there's no instant gratification and no great fun. For pure gameplay, Wii Sports is better.
So should you buy it? well yeah - if you've the dedication of an Olympic athelete.
Good but let down....... September 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
When it got this game I thought it was brilliant after 2 months I still thought it was brilliant. BUT after 3 months this game was pretty average the reason being the lack of events, yea sure I got hundreds of world records but there is just NOT ENOUGH EVENTS!!!!!! The graphics are very good there are some good characters to choose from, there are some dream events which are quite fun that you can't have anywhere else. Another thing with the game is that if you get a world record on 2 player mode it doesn't count, for example I threw 113 meters on javelin in 2 p mode when the record is only 98 meters and it says 'new world record on the results table but when you start again next time you play it will be 98 meters!
Just take my advice GET SUMMER ATHLETICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
