The Twilight Lord September 16, 2008 The Domina of Terah, Lara, has been taken in the middle of the night. Her mentor, Prince Kaliq, and her mother, Queen of the Faeries, Ilona are not telling all they know. Her husband, The Dominus, Magnus Hauk, is frantic. Why has she been taken? Where is she?
Kol, the Twilight Lord, has won. He has the Domina, Lara in his grip. Soon he will have her powers and he will conquer both Hetar and Terah.
Will Lara lose herself forever? Will Kol succeed? What is going on in Hetar?
The Twilight Lord was not quite what I expected. I could not enjoy it the way I wished. The main detraction was scenes that I felt were not realistic in their treatment of Lara and Morgan. I was disappointed by this plot turn. That said, the subplots were well-drawn and made me hopeful for the fourth book of the series. Ms. Small, as always, develops her characters beautifully and her attention to detail is good.

Exciting New Romance January 16, 2008 Small has given us Hetar and totally re-invented herself successfully with this exciting new place called Hetar which has exciting strong characters that can be admired and who fall in Love. We are pulling for the novel's Love Couple but impressed with the strong villian in this book. The villian in this book is so devious and clever... as in her book Innocent that it seems to be his redeeming characteristics. This book along with Lara, the first in the series; capativates you so that you're looking for the next book in the series and you are never disappointed with the creative imagination of Beatrice Small. I have all her great books and never except for Dutchess (a one if that) was I ever not able to fully say this is 5 or 4 star stuff. Who but Beatrice Small could take Historical Romance to another level and do it with such titilating, intrigue and suspense that she thoroughly captivates her audience. This series should be a movie it is so Well Done.
Gift for Mom January 16, 2008 I bought about 9 various Beatrice Small books for my mom to read. She is an avid reader and fan of Beatrice's books. I can't speak about the book itself, but I am pleased with my ability to order all the books that she needed to complete out the series. She was elated to receiver her shipment of new books. No complaints!
Bertrice Small's World of Hetar series December 27, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These books are terrible. Sex scenes get old really fast when they take up 90% of a book. It's porn, pure and simple.
When compared to Sky O'Malley and her earlier series, it becomes obvious that Bertrice Small has lost her edge.
