Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Young readers will get a kick out of snapping open the mouth of the plastic animal head attached to each book, then letting it close with a SNAP!

In Toby Toucan and his Noisy Beak, Toby Toucan SNIP-SNAPS his very fine -- but very noisy -- beak morning and night. When his neighbors complain, he's very sad. Then everyone learns that his SNIP-SNAP is useful after all! Children will love to SNIP-SNAP Toby's beak along with the story.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Snip Snap books are GREAT fun!!!   January 12, 2007
I love these books. The characters are fun and they always include a nice message. My kids really get into the books because they can open and close the animal's mouth.

4 out of 5 stars A cute baby book   May 29, 2001
My baby likes this book quite a bit. This was the first snappy book she got. The story is O.K. and it is very colorful and fun to snap along to. The Toucan finds out that his friends think his beak is too pound and is keeping them up. Toby gets sad since he loves to snap his beak loudly. Then when he does not snap one night, he gets a letter the next day from the animals asking him to snap loudly once in the day and once at night so they will know when to get up and when to go to sleep. He feels useful and is happy again at the end.
