An effective replacement part September 20, 2008
It appears to be an exact duplicate of the old agitator which had gotten dull, wobbly, and started leaking after 15 years of almost daily use. My old blender is like new again.

I was asked for a review, what can I say. Its a replacement part and it works.
A senior moment (a spoon in the blender) caused some damage to the existing agitator... hence the replacement.

Instead of having to buy a whole new blender when the original blade assemble froze up, I was happy to find this replacement blade assembly which was a perfect match.
Spend the extra money for the Oster assembly July 19, 2008
Don't waste your time buying a non Oster assembly as it won't fit your machine as well as this one will. It is a perfect fit and works great. The rubber seal works much better than the non-Oster seals.
Works like new again July 12, 2008
I make smoothies that requires blending 6 ice cubes and frozen fruit nearly every day. I bought an Oster blender over a year ago and it has been great at making smoothies. Lately, it has been taking an incredibly long time to mix them and I figured the blender was finished. I resigned myself to buying a new blender but at the last minute, I decided to try replacing the chopping blade. I am so HAPPY I decided to give this a try because my blender is running like new again and saved me at least $20. I would recommend buying two at once as this will save you money on shipping costs.
