Pictures paint a thousand words February 26, 2008
These are hard subjects to illustrate in just one illustration- trustworthiness, honesty, pride, modesty- but the book did a great job of bringing the point home.My 3 & 5 year old boys got a lot out of these books. Highly enjoyable!
great book for toddlers/preschoolers December 11, 2007
We have stuggled with how to teach values to our children and this book is an essential title for any childs library. My daughter LOVES this book and has even memorized some of the words, she particularly likes the cooperate page. The illustrations are wonderful and the text perfect!

We bought this for our 20 month old. My wife is a book-lover and when she came across this one, bought it. It is excellent! We read it often to our daughter. Even at this age, she is learning about patience, contentment, and wisdom. It'll make a great gift for friends, teachers, etc.

There's no complaint with the product, only with the fact
that I DID NOT qualify for free shipping. I don't understand
yet why this is. I ordered 5 copies of the book and it was
around $70.

I bought this book for my 4 yr old who is an avid reader. She loves this book, and we've read it many times. Together, apart, a lot! I like the idea of using cookies to illustrate what each manner (or emotion) means. The 'retro' illustrations are wonderful as well.
