Great book for children May 17, 2007 can't say enough about dinasour series books; fun to read, great pictures and good rhymes!
DINO'S ROCK! February 12, 2007 My kids, girl and boy under 6 years old, love these books. Great for before dinner/calming down time and bedtime reading. My oldest has begun reading it to my youngest, and my youngest loves to correct my oldest... since we have read it so many many many many times. The pictures are wonderful! Great to own and give as a gift.
Great Spanish translation of a fun tale! February 7, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
All too often, children's books that have been translated into Spanish lose the charm of the original story; the translators seem to be more concerned with translating literally rather than capturing the "spirit" of the story (and the all so important rhyme). Happily, this is NOT the case in, "Como Comen los Dinosaurios". It is fun to read and sure to be enjoyed by your novice Spanish reader.
For those interested in other Spanish children's books, I heartily recommend "Huevos Verdes con Jamon", the Spanish version of Dr Seuss' classic "Green Eggs and Ham", which keeps true to the "rhythm" of the original.
Dinosaurs Eat Their Food January 17, 2007 The book looked like it was well written and easy reading for my 5 yr. old nephew
Our Favoriate December 21, 2006 This is one of the best childrens books I've ever had. we read it all the time and now my 4 year old even knows all the words. It has also helped with rhyming..
