The excitement of this book really begins in the previous book (The Shattering). The Chaw Of Chaws is heading north on different missions such as sending Dewlap(who has gone mad)to a retreat and asking for help in the upcoming battle. Suddenly, Gylfie is kidnapped. Will Twilla be able to rescue her?
If I could, I would give this book six stars!!

I didn't like this book at all. The journey to the Northern Kingdoms was really random. Also, I hate how Soren is the leader of everything. It drives me crazy.

The Guardians of Ga'Hoole Series RULE! It combines my love of birds AND fantasy! I got hooked after reading The Capture. I've reading books #1-#6, but I haven;t read The Hatchling or The Outcast yet! :( But I put a hold on #8 and I'm getting it today! :) I can't wait for the next book, The Legends! I'm going to try to buy the rest of the books. (I also like the Harry Potter series)

The Burning is a very exiting book and is shocking at the end.There are very tense moments in the book in which Soren is frightened.Kathryn Lasky really wrote the Burning better than J.K Rowling wrote Harry Potter.When I first started reading Guardians of Ga'hoole I absolutly loved it!I think she should make a movie of because it is so GOOD!Thank you for reading this review.

The Burning was the best one of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole. This was my favorite seris ever. I learned a lot about owls too. I think that more people should read this seris. Kathryn Lasky really knows how to write books!
