3 out of 5 stars Good Book, Just Not As Impressive As The Others In The Series   July 20, 2005

I'm 14, and as you may know from my review of the first book, The Capture, I love this series!! I must say it is one of my favorites! Although I do cherish this series, I felt that the sixth one, The Burning, was definitely one of the weaker ones in the series. I'm definitely glad though that the series continues, and hope to see better!

5 out of 5 stars Burnination!   June 29, 2005

The Burning was awsome book! It had me staying up all night because each chapter was a cliffhanger! Mrs. Lasky knew exactly where to put the fighting scenes. She came up with the perfect names for all the owls too. None of the books had several paragraphs just to decribe something. I'm glad this book ends with a cliffhanger because when I finished reading that book I hoped another would come out. I cannot wait to read the next book. This series is great for all ages, and I would especially recommend it for ages 9-12.

5 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT READ FOR ALL AGES   May 11, 2005

This is a really good read for people who are fans of this seiries and for people who want to learn more about owls and who already love owls at heart. This book continues Soren's journey through the kingdom of Ga'Hoole and has many surprising turns in it.

This book is a really good book.
