We have read many books for our 1.5 year old. This one is probably the least entertaining and only mildly educational. Miss Spider's ABC's, Sandra Boynton books, lemons are not red, don't let pidgeon drive the bus are much better.

My 2 year old son LOVES his dinosaur books! He always says "more dinosaur book"! This was the first one I purchased for him. I has great realistic drawings of dinosaurs playing with things any kid in daycare or preschool would know! Of course it has counting which any parent loves from an educational standpoint. Also, all the pictures of the dinosaurs have the name of the dinosaur right next to it in small print so when your child wants to know the name of that dinosaur, you don't have to make it up! All in all, this is just a cute book!
