This one is not my favorite. We love "Bear Snores on" and "Bear wants more". I like the rhyming and stories better than this one, but this one is cute too. we also like the Christmas one- "Bear Wakes Up". My (almost) 3 and 5 yr olds love all of these and we read them all the time. the illustrations are great. we learn about all the different animals. they love to "aaaachooo" in Bear snores on.

Our girls would rather read the Bear books than watch TV! It's the best compliment a books series can receive isn't it?
Another great bear book January 10, 2007
This is our fourth Bear book by Karma Wilson. My four year old daughter and I love the rhythms in these books. They are fun to read and easy to read along with. Great illustrations too.

We have the entire series of Bear books, and I have to admit, while this latest is cute, has the same wonderful illustrations, and my kids love it, the rhyme is not quite up to par when compared to the previous versions. However, it is still a really good book -and my children enjoy reading it - which, in my "book," is what actually matters the most. I will recommend this latest edition as much as the previous ones.

We have the other books written by Karma Wilson, but this one wasn't as good as her others. It still had the beautiful and fun illustrations, but the story wasn't as captivating. It's still a good book, but I recommend her other "Bear" books. My son memorized them due to the great sing song words she used to describe all the details!
