Clever and fun to read October 14, 2007
I picked this book up to read to my son at bedtime and was thoroughly pleased. The art is cute and colorful. The pacing and rhyme of the text keeps you going and is a joy to hear out loud. The text cleverly ties in facts and tidbits about Teddy Roosevelt, but it doesn't seem forced (unlike some of the other books in this series).
There are also some interesting Roosevelt facts at the end of the book that explain some of the vaguer text; your kid probably won't care about that just yet.
I would highly recommend this book for story time, though I wasn't too impressed with the other books in this series. This one, however, is great!
