My Wife just loves this book. Our little girl is 8 months old and she just laughs every time we read it to her. It's a cute book that is catchy in its phrasing. You'll love it if you buy it.

Our 18-month old brings this book to us to read. He loves acting out the sequence of the story, even anticipating what comes next - bouncing, clapping, singing, etc. I had been really struggling with how to find ways to interact in a positive way with our very active toddler. He usually won't sit still long enough to get through any activity or book. It is so nice to have a fun thing to do together that involves cuddling and laughing, instead of saying "no" all the time!
Makes you want to sing! December 16, 2006
I just got this book for my two year old. It is very difficult to just read...I find myself singing it to my daughter and she loves it, makes her laugh. Plus, you can do actions along with it (ex: kiss on the nose, smooch toes, nibble feet, etc). I definitely recommend this book - very cute! And it would make a nice baby gift.

Simple sing song book with sweet illustrations! This is a great cuddle, giggle, and snuggle book, my almost two year old laughs and ask that we read it "again, again!" She literally brings us the book all through the day and ask us to read the book which is a bit like "pattie cake" with its easy rhythm but is about a sweet little bear named "baby cakes" who is loved by her baby and engages in games of peek a boo, tickle and sweet night,night hugs. I would definitely recommend, it is sure to put a smile on baby's face.
