I love my Gorillapod and would've given it 5 stars if it had a built-in level. I have a hard time getting the tripod level when I put it on the counter or the mantle to shoot video at family events. (We have 3 Great Danes so I rather set the camera safely above them on my Gorillapod instead of on a full-size tripod on the floor.) It takes awhile to get the camera setup straight since there is no built-in level on the head of the Gorillapod. Other than that, I love this tripod. I use this for my Rebel XT with zoom to get some very cool close-ups. The other great thing is that I can roll it into a ball and toss it in my camera bag. My 11-year-old uses it with her camera to shoot pictures of herself with friends and my 2-year-old has thoroughly tested its durability. It's worth $50, try it!

the tripod is really easy to use, to carry, it's a must have for globe trotter!
but don't buy the accessories! it's really useless and poor quality...
