Product works great. It is important to make sure the opener is vertical to the bottle. My wife held it at a slight angle to the bottle and permenantly bent the corkscrew. It still works well, but not a good as before...

The best I have ever usedOctober 27, 2008 This is by far the best wine opener I have ever used. Simple to use and even easier to retrieve the cork. And I have found that it does hold a charge for a long time. I don't keep it plugged in all the time, instead we just keep it in our pantry and take it out whenever we need to open a bottle. Has worked fine every time. I only plug it in occasionally to maintain the charge.
A good openerOctober 27, 2008 No problems with this one, and it looks good too. It does tend to lose it's charge rather quickly if left off the charger (completely dead after a full charge and two days off the base station).
fun and easy to useOctober 23, 2008 Beats the heck out of struggling with those conventional cork screws. Works on the synthetic corks too.
